 We are in NO WAY tasked with being a recruiting tool of any of the Armed Forces of the United States especially not the Marine Corps! We are not funded by any official Government entity. We raise our funding from individual donors, corporate donors and Offical West Georgia Young Marines fund-raisers 

   We strive to mold these young Men and Women into self-confident, productive members of our Sociey.  We teach self-discipline, respect for themselves as well as the people they will come in contact with. We emphasize physical fitness, personal appearance, personal responsibilities as well as the Young Marine History and the Marine Corps History.

   The primary goal is to give these bright young men and women a positive environment to grow and yet have some boundries and goals set for them to achieve. It is imparative that these young men and women show the general public the manners that we strive for at our meetings and functions.  

  We want to instill a sense of patriotism and a sense of pride in themselves and their nation. We require ALL Young Marines and Recruits be be socially active in ther communities as well as Community Service programs such as Toy-for-Tots, Memorial Day Functions, Laying of Wreaths at the National Cemetary in Canton, Ga in December, etc..  We want them to be especially grateful for the United States Military and for the sacrifices they and their families endure.

   In all we want to mold them into a bright, productive member in their adult lives.
